The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has announced an increase in entry ticket prices for the highly anticipated Ahmedabad Flower Show 2026, marking the first hike in several years as organisers prepare for a larger, more diverse showcase of floral artistry. The decision comes amid rising operational and logistical costs, as well as plans to expand the event’s attractions to include more themed gardens, horticultural workshops, cultural performances, and interactive zones for visitors of all ages.
According to AMC officials, new ticket rates will apply to all visitor categories including general admission, senior citizens, and student passes with family and group packages also revised upwards. In a statement, AMC said that enhanced safety measures, improved infrastructure, upgraded display installations, and partnerships with national and international floral experts have contributed to the need for the price adjustment. The Corporation emphasised that despite the increased fees, the Show remains one of the most affordable and eagerly awaited cultural events in Gujarat’s calendar, attracting tourists, gardening enthusiasts, families and photographers from across India.
Organisers are confident that the added investment will deliver a richer experience, blending environmental education with aesthetic celebration. Advance ticket sales are expected to begin soon, with early-bird discounts for residents and online bookings. Last year’s edition drew record crowds; the 2026 Show promises even bigger blooms and broader appeal, though some regular attendees have expressed concerns over the steeper entry cost.
AMC officials maintain that the hike will help sustain the event’s quality and long-term success, ensuring Ahmedabad’s Flower Show continues to flourish as a hallmark of urban culture and horticultural excellence.
