The upcoming OnePlus 15T is shaping up to be a powerful yet pocket-friendly “compact flagship,” tipped to debut in the first half of 2026. Equipped with the same flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC that powers its larger sibling, the 15T is expected to deliver flagship-class performance, from gaming to multitasking and photography.
Unlike typical flagship slabs, the 15T aims for a more compact form factor: leaks suggest a 6.31-inch flat OLED display with symmetrical slim bezels, paired with a high 165 Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and fluid animations. On the power-and-endurance front, the phone reportedly packs a massive ~7,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, a rare feat for a compact device, and may include fast charging, making it ideal for heavy users.
In terms of build and usability, expect a metallic frame, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking, and an IP68-rated body offering water and dust resistance.Rumours also hint at a triple-camera system (main + ultra-wide + possibly telephoto), potentially adding wider shooting versatility missing from earlier compact models.
If all goes well, the OnePlus 15T could deliver true flagship performance and battery life, in a hand-friendly size. For many users who find modern smartphones too bulky, this could be the sweet spot.
